Adobe Lightroom for black and white Photography

thumbs_d200_khr_2056.jpgAs you may be aware of, I'm a really big fan of Adobe Lightroom, I am a beta tester after all, so needless to say, I must be a fan.

The reason why I became such a big fan was the grayscale mixer inside Lightroom. And now with the release of 2.0 Beta this is even more true, because now we have local correction tools that enables us to develop really good black and white photography right inside Lightroom, no need to open Photoshop for this kind of work anymore.

I'm currently working on a black and white tutorial-thingy that seem to take much more time than first anticipated. I hope this post could be a little teaser until the 'tutorial' is ready.

The picture in the post (click thumb to enlarge) is shot with a Nikon D200 with the AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm ƒ2.8 VR attached, and is developed with Adobe Lightroom 2.0 Beta.

The subject is Mardalsfossen in Nesset, Norway.

Hope you enjoy it.
